A client in Phoenix, AZ is looking to bring on a Safety Specialist to join their team. This will be a year long contract with possible conversion. They will be responsible for conducting safety audits in an industrial manufacturing environment. They inspect emergency equipment, review safety protocols, and conduct training sessions on emergency procedures. Throughout the day, they perform risk assessments, respond to incidents, and document all activities.
Meetings with management are held to discuss safety improvements and updates to emergency plans. The day ends with a debriefing session to review activities and plan for the next day. Continuous communication with all departments and staying informed about industry standards are key ongoing tasks to ensure the company’s safety measures are always improving.
Available shifts are Front Half or Back Half Days 5:45am-6:15pm on compressed work weeks. This role starts /HR will opportunities for performance increases while on contract.
Responsibilities- Conduct safety audits in an industrial manufacturing environment.

- Maintain continuous communication with all departments and stay informed about industry standards to ensure safety measures are improving.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience with Chemical Emergency Response
- Hazmat Experience (Gas/Chemical Environment)
