** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily:
* Technical aspects* + Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to produce prototype parts, tools/equipment parts, re-works, production, etc. + Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to ensure dimensional accuracy. + Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools. + Modify and troubleshoot parts during development to meet design intent. + Learn and implement new technologies/processes to improve prototyping and production when necessary.
* Tools used (computer programs)+ CAD/CAM software (e.g., Solid Works, Mastercam)+ CNC machine controllers – Preferably HAAS+ MS Office Suite for documentation and communication+ ERP, MES system, etc.
* Other duties+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.+ Collaborate with engineers to provide feedback on manufacturability.+ Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for machining processes.

** QUALIFICATIONS
* * The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
** Education and/or Experience**:
* 10 years of machining & programming experience
* Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college, technical school or apprenticeship.# Computer Skills
* Proficiency in MS Office
* CAD Software – Preferably Solidworks
* CAM Software – Preferably Mec Soft
