Day Shift
Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of inventory including raw materials, WIP, finished goods, ensuring accuracy through cycle counts, audits and system updates.
- Receive and process incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality against purchase orders, and issue materials to production lines.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, initiate replenishment orders and identify/manage obsolete or slow‑moving inventory.
- Assist in planning and executing physical inventory counts and performing reconciliations.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Generate SPI Labels in SAP as needed to support accurate inventory corrections.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, manage location codes and ensure proper storage.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment handling metal stock.
- Proficiency with Inventory Management Software (IMS), ERP systems and Excel.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong data analysis with the ability to investigate discrepancies and forecast inventory needs.
- Forklift operation experience (certification preferred or required by company policy).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
