  • Shift: 12 hours Night Shift, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

  • Pay Range: $28.00 to $38.00/Hour plus $2.00/Hour Shift Differential
  • Bi-Annual Bonus Compensation
Position

Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical repairs of injection molding, printing, and automation industrial machines and equipment at the Tolleson, AZ plant. The role requires a safety-minded approach, attention to detail, troubleshooting capabilities and dependable attendance. This is a high-paying job with built-in overtime at a leading global company focused on a safe work environment and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities
  • Installs, alters, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical molding equipment, dry offset printing equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC systems.
  • Installs and troubleshoots mechanical or electrical support equipment (conveyors, box sealing machines, grinding equipment, stackers, etc.).
  • Preventative maintenance in molding of Husky and BNB injection molding equipment.
  • Preventative maintenance for support equipment.
  • Maintain PM files – database.
  • Maintain work-order files – database.
  • Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and HACCP practices.
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager.
  • Must know the Quality Policy, Food Safety Policy and apply it to working practices.
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes.
  • Follow all Lock-Out Tag-out procedures.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and help others as needed.
Qualifications
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Mechanically and electrically inclined.
  • Safety and quality conscience at all times.
  • 3–5 years industrial equipment maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Additional training may be required to retain position.
  • Familiar with the operation of PLCs, drives, and robots.
  • Basic equipment maintenance tools.
  • Responsible, self-motivated and team oriented; able to make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to take a hands-on approach during process interruptions.
  • Prior experience working on Husky injection molding machines preferred.
Education and Experience

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and minimum one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

    Skills:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
Reasoning and Physical Demands
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
