Job DescriptionAs an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and maintenance of complex mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with industry regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless execution of repair and overhaul operations, optimizing processes and enhancing overall productivity. You will report directly to our ISC Operations Supervisor and work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an onsite work schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assembly and maintenance tasks on mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Monitor and report on assembly performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- 6+ years of experience in assembly and maintenance within a repair and overhaul environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and tools.
- Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing or repair environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.
