Metal Finisher - Brass Products

Description

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-focused individual to join our production team as a Hand Finisher. In this position, you'll work primarily with brass components, preparing and finishing materials using handheld tools and power equipment to meet quality standards. You’ll play a key role in completing pieces that are production-ready, contributing to a smooth workflow and a strong final product.

• Finish, polish, and deburr brass parts by hand and with power tools (grinders, buffers, sanders, etc.)
• Inspect pieces for accuracy, consistency, and surface quality
• Follow finishing procedures and production requirements to meet daily goals
• Maintain a clean work area and handle materials safely
• Participate in team‑based production efforts to meet targets and deadlines
• Communicate issues or defects to leads to support continuous improvement

• Hands‑on experience working with tools – ideally in a fabrication, metalworking, or production environment
• Comfort using basic power tools (training provided where needed)

• Reliable attendance and ability to work on your feet throughout the day

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs as needed
• Work performed in a shop/production environment (dust, sound, PPE required)
