CNC Operator – 2nd Shift, Weekly Pay – $20-26/hr (IND

Due to rapid growth, Marathon is hiring immediately for a 2nd Shift CNC Mill Operator. This full‑time position has weekly pay.

Training will begin on 1st shift and convert to 2nd shift after training has commenced.

Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking and experienced CNC Mill Operator with a background in machining. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of programming and simulation software and will be able to read and interpret blueprints. The individual will work in a fast‑paced, challenging environment and will report directly to the Production Director.

• Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Understand and utilize blueprints and mechanical drawings for specific tasks.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Prepare a test run to check whether the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
• Set up machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts.
• Supervise machines and make any adjustment necessary to produce better results.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with the requirements to determine if the process has been completed correctly.
• Check and maintain machinery daily.

Experience:

• 2 years CNC milling machine experience – required

Skills/Requirements: Ability to commute to Phoenix, AZ 85029; must relocate before starting work; work location: in person.
