Shift Premium: $1.00/hour extra for shift differential
Shifts Available and
Hours:
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, overtime as needed.
Job Responsibilities:- Check billet/logs availability for daily schedule for due dates.
- Verify proper & selection of billets/logs for each order.
- Ensure that racks, skids and baskets are ready for operators.
- Check and maintain ovens, load and unload ovens, make hourly checks.
- Have read and understand work instructions for extrusion presses and age ovens.
- Empty scrap and chip hoppers as needed.
- Comply with company safety and housekeeping specifications.
- Perform minor maintenance on forklift, check fluid levels and general condition.
- Complete “Lift truck operator’s daily inspection report.”
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English.
- Must read and understand all work and safety instructions relevant to their
specific position. - Must be able to use and maintain all basic tools and measuring equipment
pertinent to their specific position. - Must have good driving skills.
