Position Summary

The Manufacturing Plant Manager will lead the Goodyear Modular Data Center facility, overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, logistics, engineering, quality, safety, and continuous improvement. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, employee development, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, engineer-to-order and design build environment. This includes planning, forecasting, executing, and testing Modular Data Centers.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy
  • Define and execute plant strategy aligned with Schneider Electric’s global goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
Operations Management
  • Oversee daily operations, including production, materials management, engineering, and maintenance.
  • Manage plant KPIs, including safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost.
  • Validate and execute the Master Production Plan and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Drive digital transformation and smart manufacturing initiatives using Eco Struxure technologies.
People & Culture
  • Develop and mentor plant personnel, promoting career growth and engagement.
  • Collaborate with HR to implement people management strategies and skills development.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
Customer & Compliance
  • Ensure strong communication with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain compliance with government regulations and Schneider Electric policies.
  • Lead efforts to improve customer satisfaction through technical and operational excellence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Industrial Management.
  • Strong experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Proven track record in managing engineer-to-order or design-build environments.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Certified in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma; PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP/ERP systems
  • Excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
