Apel Extrusions is an independent extruder, finisher and fabricator of aluminum extrusions serving the commercial, residential, and industrial markets of Western Canada and the Western United States. Locations:
Calgary (Canada), Coburg (Oregon) and Phoenix (Arizona).

We are currently hiring Production Workers in the following area:

• Day Shift Finishing Helper – Monday to Thursday, 5 am–3 pm or 8 am–6 pm (with occasional mandatory overtime).

• Work with large industrial equipment.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment – ear plugs, safety glasses, and boots – at all times.
• Comply with all policies and procedures in accordance with our quality management system.
• Review and follow work order instructions and best practice requirements.
• Adhere to and promote all safety requirements.
• Read and understand dimensional prints.
• Operate measuring devices.
• Operate a forklift.

• High degree of independence and accountability; good attendance required.
• Detailed orientated, able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to independently perform simple calculations.
• Effective communication and interaction with others.
• Working knowledge of extrusion press responsibilities.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Manufacturing/Production/Warehouse experience preferred.

• Exposed to a production environment that includes noise, moving machinery, forklifts and temperature fluctuations.
• Personal Protective Equipment provided.

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and ability to lift, push, pull at least 25 pounds.
