Position: Maintenance Technician at IPL Schoeller Phoenix, AZ

The role

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Injection Maintenance Technician to join our team in Phoenix Arizona. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and related production systems to ensure maximum uptime and quality output.

IPL Schoeller is willing to offer relocation assistance for this role.

As a Maintenance Technician at IPL you will :
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines (Husky) and auxiliary equipment
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Support mold changes. Set‑ups and production startups as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machine performance.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and improve processes.
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
What you will bring to the role:
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in plastic injection molding or related manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Experience with troubleshooting PLC‑controlled equipment is a plus.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, overtime and on‑call is needed.
