Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday – Friday, 3:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Training may occur on 1st Shift (6 AM – 2:30 PM) for up to 60 days.
External Candidates Incentive: Sign‑on bonus of $3,000.
- Assemble and repair a variety of electronic units using prescribed repair techniques.
- Identify correct parts, components, wires, and materials needed for assembly and repair.
- Solder electronic components using industry‑standard techniques and tools.
- Remove suspect and failed components and install new components accurately.
- Operate assembly machines and ensure proper functioning.
- Measure, mix, and apply chemicals and adhesives according to safety and operational guidelines.
- Read and interpret technical data including component maintenance manuals, assembly instructions, and engineering prints.
- Communicate work status to team members and support staff, ensuring seamless workflow.
- Document clearly and concisely and maintain accurate records.
- Utilize computer skills and office software applications.
- You may occasionally need to provide weekend and holiday support to meet customer needs.
- In your role, you will be exposed to:
- Products of various weights and sizes
- Equipment with moving parts
- Chemicals that may emit fumes
- To minimize safety risk to you and product, you must wear static‑control and personal protective equipment.
- Perform functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including distinguishing colors, meeting vision requirements, bending, stooping, reaching, turning, and using hands for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to stand for 2‑hour increments without an opportunity to sit.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Transporting product with or without product carts.
- Enhance your skills in precision assembly and soldering techniques.
- Gain insights into reading and interpreting complex technical data and engineering prints.
- Learn best practices in chemical handling and workplace safety.
- Develop effective communication and teamwork skills within a collaborative environment.
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience in the absence of a HS Diploma or GED.
- Certification of IPC Class III Solder Exam.
- Experience with electronic assembly.
- Experience in the aerospace industry.
