Production Associate Group Leader – 2nd Shift – Monday‑Friday (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
Position in GE Health Care. The Production Associate Group Leader will direct day‑to‑day work in an assigned area. Responsibilities include issuing instructions, ensuring tools and equipment are ready, monitoring production flow, reporting defects, implementing process improvements, maintaining compliance with QA, RA, and EHS, and ensuring correct documentation use.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read work procedures and schematics, provide instruction when required.
- Audit required tools are available and in good working order, escalating if needed.
- Monitor daily production flow and adjust workloads and resources accordingly.
- Monitor, report, and investigate defects.
- Assist in implementation of process improvements to increase quality and productivity.
- Monitor and enforce QA/RA and EHS procedures and policies as required.
- Ensure manufacturing documentation is current and accurate.
- Check and review final product paperwork.
- Other duties as assigned, including quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams.
- Participate in quality control inspections when required.
- Comply with EHS regulations and policies.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED/local equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of related manufacturing experience.
- Ability to communicate, receive, and understand instructions in local language (English).
- Ability to provide instructions regarding policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or local equivalent.
- Prior management experience.
- Prior experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in GMP work environment.
