Production Associate

Responsible for overall handling of final product ensuring that all product leaves the plant in compliance with customer specifications.

• Performs all product handling activities (i.e. stacking, counting, packaging, sealing, putting bags in trays or boxes). Assists as directed by Productions Supervisor/Manager for repackaging and reworking product.
• Performs visual inspection of product ensuring quality is acceptable.
• Keeps work area clean. Performs cleaning of assigned areas.
• Assists in training new employees.
• Provides suggestions to improve process, procedures, and department in support of company goals.
• Follows Company, GMP and Safety policies to ensure compliance.
• Follows food safety principles and legal requirements.
• Maintains a positive and constructive work environment within the department as well as with other departments and promotes teamwork.
• Works in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements.
• Able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Able to work in all production areas (i.e., flour, corn, chips, masa and nixtamal).
• Other duties as assigned.

• 1-year previous experience working in production.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Good Communication Skills.

$16.50 Per Hour

For Press Production it would be 6am or 6:30am, must have flexible schedule to work 8, 10, or 12 hours shifts Mon – Friday with weekends, overtime, holidays as needed.
