* POSITION SUMMARY:
** The Director of Compensation is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and oversight of the Company’s broad based, executive, and sales compensation plans in support of the company’s goals and objectives. This role requires exceptional communication skills with the ability to leverage internal and external networks in a fast paced, growing organization.
** PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
*** Experience working in large, complex, dynamic organizations with multiple business groups and broad geographic reach, and the ability and tolerance to work in an ambiguous environment.
* Strong verbal and written communications skills are required as this role will interact with senior leaders and corporate executives.
* Provide leadership and proactive compensation support on a variety of matters including but not limited to executive offers and leveling, organization restructurings, year-round compensation planning and specialized Total Rewards (TR) projects.
* In partnership with business leaders, HR and the Vice President of Total Rewards, manage and deploy total reward solutions that are linked to Republic’s overall Total Rewards strategy.
* Benchmark sales incentives and drive the design and implementation of the company’s sales compensation plans.
* Provide proactive & strategic business support – understanding key business challenges and opportunities and proactively providing Total Rewards solutions to better enable businesses to achieve their growth objectives.
* Lead change management – focused on the HR community, leadership, and employee communications strategies of our rewards programs.
* Utilize data, analytics, and internal/external insights to develop total rewards solutions that help drive business results.
* Build a strong team of Total Rewards business partners to help the business achieve its objectives and enhance TR talent pipeline.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

* QUALIFICATIONS:
*** Strong business acumen; an understanding of key global business trends (e.g., organizational functions, regulatory, legal, economic conditions)
* Strategic and systematic thinking, collaboration, stakeholder management, project leadership, change management and communications skills
* Working within a fast-paced environment
* Experience in supporting hourly compensation, exempt compensation, and incentive compensation
* Experience in broad human resources roles such as Benefits, BU HR, Talent Management, etc., is a plus
* Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions
* Experience managing and leading an internal team of direct and indirect reports to successfully deliver to the scope, schedule and cost while also partnering with external consulting teams to ensure milestones are met, knowledge transfer is in place, etc.
* Demonstrated success in leading change, improving processes, and developing effective teams.
* Leadership ability with superior analytical tools, exceptional presentation, oral and written communication skills; can effectively interact with all levels of management.
* Strategic, analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to engage others as necessary to quickly synthesize.
* Passionate, self-starter with the highest level of integrity and ethics along with demonstrated initiative, planning, team building and problem-solving skills.
* Possesses the ability to proactively communicate & collaborate with different levels and functions in the organization as well the ability to communicate appropriate and useful information to team members and stakeholders.
* Ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with business stakeholders, team members and vendors.
* Experience analyzing and understanding financial and legal regulations, including tax and accounting treatment, SEC regulations and filings, proxy disclosures, FASB, 10k annual report analysis, Internal Revenue Code Section 409A.
* Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).

* MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
*** 10+ years’ experience in compensation, including designing, managing, and implementing compensation plans and programs.
