SUMMARY

The Area Manager is a passionate supporter and leader of our Elase Clinics (currently Derma Health). This person is integral to the success of our spa locations in Arizona and is accountable for driving our business to consistent KPI targets, sales growth and positive EBITDA results. This position has an elevated level of business acumen, leadership abilities, and a strong background in sales and operations.

This person is a seasoned leader with multi-unit management experience, specifically leading leaders, and service providers. This position reports to our Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations.

Education And Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred;
    High School diploma required.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience; experience in hospitality, retail or the spa industry preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience managing high performing teams.
  • Demonstrated achievement in managing a P&L, exceeding sales and KPI targets.
  • Experience working with multi-units in the beauty and wellness space preferred.
  • Experience managing employees with elevated medical credentials (nurses, opticians, medical assistants, etc.) preferred.
  • Fluent in computer and phone skills; technical knowledge of various software and applications (MS Office Suite, Hub Spot, etc.) required.

PRIMARY DUTIES
  • Lead a team of 5-10 direct reports who manage 50+ employees across 5+ locations with diverse backgrounds of sales and medical expertise.
  • Train and develop your team to operate with the highest standards of operations and client service.
  • Partner with human resources to elevate and hold team accountable.
  • Develop the team by hosting regular team meetings and effective 1:1 touch bases and continued training.
  • Create individual development plans for General Managers to drive Elase’s expectations for leadership.
  • Provide feedback, coaching and mentoring to all team members to drive client experience and achieve sales expectations.
  • Identify high-potential team members and create an internal pipeline for advancement.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing and diverse team.
Sales And Operations
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals in each designated location and the area at large.
  • Identify KPIs and partner in engineering tactics to achieve those targets and drive results.
  • Consistently coach team on maximizing operational excellence and sales initiatives.
  • Drive sales initiatives to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial performance of each location.
  • Manage the P&L for the region and focus on optimizing EBITDA through cost control, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews and provide actionable insights to improve profitability.
