Lighting Department Head - Clearwing

JOB SUMMARY

The Lighting Department Head oversees the inbound, outbound, prep, and quality control lighting teams in the warehouse. They collaborate with operations and other departments on deployment to ensure the success of all shows with lighting. This role requires strong communication skills, experience working with inventory management software, and exceptional attention to detail and task management.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Manage and mentor employees by establishing expectations, giving clear and concise tasks, and providing coaching. Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing, including plots, loom lists, rack elevations and other relevant paperwork.
• Ability to work on a team, maintain a positive attitude, and be open to learning. A wide variety of knowledge in the lighting industry, company gear, and in all aspects of the company. Strong knowledge of loading and unloading trucks.

• Strong problem‑solving skill set, analytical skills, great attention to detail, organized, patient, and tactful.
• Lifestyle work ethic – Working long days and weekends when necessary; being available 24/7 to service client needs.

• Accurately track and manage company owned assets.
• Determine staffing needs for the lighting department.
• Maintain, uphold and implement company quality control standards.
• Will be working on multiple shows at a time, verifying that all information is correct and organized.
• Ensure shop personnel have current equipment lists, diagrams, and other necessary information required to prep so we may provide world class service to our clients.
• Develops and assigns daily and weekly tasks to the team in alignment with project requirements and company initiatives.
