The Senior Project Manager will be the driving force behind the success of every key project or program y are responsible for developing and defining projects, managing the project timeline and budget, and tracking key performance indicators. This role will act as a liaison between the project team, Preconstruction team, and upper-level management, preparing and presenting progress reports to ensure the project is aligned with organizational goals.

- Construction Job Control & Execution:
Review subcontracts and ensure terms, conditions, and scope information are consistent with the company’s proposal. - Oversee contract term compliance, execution of the work, changes, and change orders in a timely manner. Ensure documentation and project files are current.
- Maintain adequate communication with all relevant parties to ensure project plans and deliverables are met.
- Manage costs, budget, and construction expenses; manage project productivity and safety aligned with company policies.
- Write subcontracts to cover scope and risk; manage all project suppliers and ensure invoices are routed appropriately.
- Forecast and deliver monthly cost-to-complete reports timely and accurately.
- Close out projects at conclusion with documentation submitted, files archived, and post-mortem meetings conducted.
- Interface with customers to uphold high-quality customer service, resolve problems, complete audits, determine improvements, and implement change.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to enhance the ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Capable of reading and interpreting rebar, post-tension, concrete formwork, structural and architectural drawings.
- Monitor safety and quality on projects, including subcontractor activities; perform safety audits and inspections as required.
- Manage bids from vendors and subcontractors, specify materials, and negotiate price. Oversee cost keys and price masters, resolve cost discrepancies.
- Maintain proactive communications with colleagues, management, customers, and vendor/suppliers; foster positive, professional relationships.
- Manage and coordinate all subcontractor and vendor contracts and related processes.
- Lead, manage, supervise, and mentor Junior Project Managers and Project Engineers.
- Oversee planning and development of positions including Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned for the organization's support.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field is required, or equivalent experience and training in lieu of degree.
- 10+ years of experience as a project manager in the construction industry.
- 5+ years of experience leading, supervising, and growing teams.
- Knowledge of project estimating process and project budget development.
- Experience tracking budget expenses.
- Extensive knowledge of the construction industry with concrete experience.
- Experience using Computer Ease is preferred.
- Sales experience in construction is a plus.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing tasks and needs.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees.
- Advanced leadership skills and ability to manage challenges and oversee employees.
- Maintain a positive attitude while working in a team with competing priorities.
- Ability to thrive in an environment of change and growth.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, OST, and PowerPoint.
- Office and construction site environment; ability to drive to sites or meetings with clients.
- Regularly sit, use hands, and operate tools; communicate verbally and listen actively; occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Exposure to chemicals, inclement weather, and heavy equipment.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; vision requirements as described.
