Overview

Pacific Mobile Diagnostics (PMD), a Connect Health affiliate, is seeking a mission-driven, entrepreneurial leader ready to take ownership of a high-impact healthcare operation. Whether you are stepping directly into the Executive Director role or entering through our CEO in Training (CIT) pathway, this opportunity places you at the helm of a growing mobile diagnostics organization that transforms how communities access care.

If you’re ready to lead with purpose, drive meaningful outcomes, and shape the future of mobile healthcare, this role offers the platform to do exactly that.

Position Summary

The Executive Director oversees all day-to-day operations of a Pacific Mobile Diagnostics affiliate, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial performance, operational excellence, and strong relationships with healthcare partners. This leader is responsible for cultivating a high-performing team, delivering exceptional patient-centered service, and driving sustainable growth within the market.

For candidates entering through the CEO in Training (CIT) program, this role begins with a 6–8 month, full-time, paid development experience that provides hands-on operational exposure, executive mentorship, and structured leadership training. Upon successful completion, CIT graduates transition into the Executive Director role with full operational ownership.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Operations: Oversee daily diagnostic and medical service delivery, including logistics, scheduling, quality control, and team accountability to ensure efficient, high-quality performance.
  • Develop & Lead Teams: Mentor and support clinical, operational, and administrative staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Financial Results: Manage budgets, financial planning, revenue strategies, and resource allocation to support strong margins and long-term sustainability.
  • Strengthen Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with healthcare facilities, clinicians, and community partners; serve as the primary point of contact and represent the operation in market and cluster meetings.
  • Advance Strategic Growth: Identify new business opportunities, expand service offerings and geographic reach, and elevate PMD’s visibility and reputation within the healthcare community.
What We’re Looking For Leadership & Experience
  • 2–3 years of proven leadership experience with measurable results (required).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive operational outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
Skills & Strengths
  • Strong financial acumen and business management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
  • Effective multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Experience in staff development and performance management.
Communication & Culture
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and professionalism.
  • Commitment to ethical leadership and quality care.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Organized, reliable, and aligned with values-driven leadership.
