Studio Leader

As the business owner of 2-4 in‑center businesses (Studio, Cycle, Yoga, and/or Signature Group Training) at Life Time Inc., you will manage the team of performers and coaches, set department goals and budgets, deliver branded programs, and build vibrant communities. You will also drive overall club performance and partner with other club and company leaders on cross‑functional initiatives.

• Scout talent, own candidate interviews, and manage onboarding of new hires by assisting with task completion.
• Provide direct reports with timely and clear support and performance management—including explaining and enforcing company policies, protocols, and expectations, and giving feedback on short‑ and long‑term development opportunities.
• Optimize the effectiveness of cross‑functional teams by working with club and company leaders on initiatives and goals.
• Build positive relationships with members, team members, and direct reports while fostering community.
• Manage the working schedules of direct reports and the class schedules for Studio, Cycle, Yoga, and Signature Group Training offerings.
• Stay up‑to‑date on market and industry developments and best practices.
• Maintain a budget and deliver on company and club business goals, including target participation, schedule optimization, and performance objectives.
• Teach four classes per week to assess and modify Life Time’s offerings and schedules, observe market updates, gather member feedback, and achieve department results.

• National Group Fitness and/or Yoga Certification.
• Fitness and Nutrition Certification.
• 2+ years of leadership or managerial experience.
• Proven track record of collaboration with team members.
• Experience building high‑performing teams with the ability to mentor and cultivate career paths.
• Familiarity with budget and staff management, as well as scheduling.
