PositionRegional Operations Manager – Lovet Pet Health Care, Phoenix, AZ
Base Pay Range: $125,000‑150,000 annually with monthly bonus. Benefits include paid time off, health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) savings plan with match.
Supervisory Responsibilities- Directly supervises hospital managers and supervisory staff.
- Serves as a business partner, coach, and mentor for DVM owners, medical directors, associate veterinarians, and hospital management.
- Acts as a brand ambassador, consistently exhibiting Lovet’s core values and fostering a strong workplace culture.
- Collaborates with the HR business partner to manage staff performance and implement performance‑management programs.
- Manages daily hospital activities using key performance metrics to ensure optimal clinical care and operating results.
- Ensures client satisfaction goals are exceeded through superior service initiatives.
- Provides ongoing training on client education best practices and cost confidence.
- Analyzes operational KPIs—including financial, budgetary, people, culture, and client‑satisfaction data—to inform decisions.
- Improves hospital profitability, cash flow, and quality of patient/client services while executing growth initiatives.
- Works with hospital leadership to meet workforce planning and scheduling needs.
- Under the VP of Operations, implements short‑term and long‑range plans and budgets, reporting outcomes.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal safety and operating standards.
- Optimizes expense, product selection, and inventory management.
- Keeps stakeholders informed on general and specific business conditions related to operational issues.
- Participates in local marketing efforts as needed.
- Identifies training opportunities in collaboration with the HR business partner and provides resources for implementation.
- Builds strong relationships between leadership, staff, and the business office.
- Oversees technology equipment and infrastructure maintenance, training, and vendor relationships.
- Develops, reviews, and revises operational policies and procedures.
- Provides advice and counsel to department heads, leadership, and staff on operational programs and policies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations principles and practices.
- Understanding of state and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Ability to compose and present comprehensive reports.
- Skill in planning, organizing, and delivering training to diverse employee groups.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in Veterinary Medicine.
- 5+ years of progressive healthcare operations management experience; multi‑site experience highly preferred.
