The Role
VP, Military Operations for BBC Military Housing is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of property management operations for assigned branch portfolio. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality of life for military personnel and their families by maintaining safe, comfortable, and well-managed housing facilities. Essential to this role is the ability to champion the ethical and compliant portfolio innovation, sustainable initiatives, development of marketing and business plans, and the professional development of the BBC operations management leadership.
Role includes accountabilities for successful completion of requirements as described in the BBC MHPI project operating documents, specifically the Property Management Agreement.

What You'll Be Doing- Establish and review policies and procedures related to property management functions in support of successful operations, including audit procedures and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Responsible for financial management of the assigned Military Branch Portfolio including review, approval and timely submission of annual budgets, revenue performance, expense management, employee cost and recruiting, forecasting, and other critical financial factors. Coordinate Capital planning with Project Development to ensure capital needs are allocated accordingly.
- Foster partnership between BBC Operations (Communities) and Facility Management; oversee the setting of goals, policies, and objectives and ensure the delivery of maintenance and customer services align with project priorities for occupancy and resident satisfaction.
- Ensure all required legal resident documents are executed according to requirements. Confirm the safe execution of maintenance and leasing activities in accordance with contract requirements and Balfour Beatty Zero Harm safety protocols.
- Champion the training and leadership of the operational impacts of BBC’s Ethics and Compliance policies and practices.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in property management, facilities management, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree or equivalent industry credentialing preferred).
