Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual office business operations plans and budgets for service, repair and modernization in support of the territory’s financial and operational objectives.
  • Implement a strategic, sustainable plan to deliver high‑quality service and grow customer loyalty across all product lines.
  • Coordinate and execute product safety initiatives in partnership with the Field Quality Excellence organization, including testing and technical training.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry consultants through personal contact and staff assignments.
  • Perform duties as a sales representative or superintendent, as required by local office structure.
  • Grow portfolio unit count and value above market standards, with fixed‑price repairs driving immediate business.
  • Develop and execute a market plan to direct the sale of company products and services, focusing on price, volume, mix and market share across district load centers.
  • Manage, mentor and lead a team to achieve KPIs using performance‑management methods and participative management practices.
  • Plan, schedule and assign workload requirements by aligning field and administrative skill levels with operational needs.
  • Set expectations for field technician engagement, ensuring on‑time installations, maintenance quality reviews and ride‑alongs.
  • Oversee field service activities for parts inventory, tools, vehicles and fixed assets, manage net working capital, and handle billing and collection procedures.
Qualifications & Education
  • MBA or MA in a related field, preferred.
  • BA/BS strongly preferred in Business, Management, Engineering or related discipline. Equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 5–10 years in the elevator industry or another service‑oriented business, with experience managing a full P&L.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel; SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong financial literacy, contract knowledge, and legal awareness of service agreements.

  • Overall knowledge of product applications, installation and service techniques.
  • Ability to understand financial statements and manage P&L for an industrial company.
  • Excellent persuasion, negotiation and communication skills; self‑confidence to meet challenges.
  • Capacity to allocate human and financial resources for cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Awareness of internal and external business changes, with ability to adjust resource focus accordingly.
