We are

seeking a Transportation/Roadway Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ
. The ideal candidate will direct and administer the activities of in-house and outsourced teams for client services, schedules, and participate in the technical resources necessary for overall project completion. The role emphasizes high-quality services with a strong focus on client satisfaction. Active leadership and management skills are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and negotiate scopes of work, schedules, and fee proposals.

Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.

Perform quality assurance and quality control for project deliverables.

Maintain and develop client relationships with municipalities and public agencies.

Prepare and participate in project interviews.

Supervise, develop, and mentor employees.

Participate in executing company strategic initiatives.

Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering and AZ registered professional engineer required.

10 to 20 years of experience managing roadway engineering projects for public agencies.

Ability to plan, organize, supervise, coordinate technical work, and satisfy clients.

Proven track record of successful client interaction, including initiating, negotiating contracts, ensuring satisfaction, and securing referrals.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Efficient work capacity with effective organizational skills and limited supervision.
