Branch Manager - Inside Sales Phoenix, AZ Lube Equipment

I. FUNCTIONS & REQUIREMENTS Purpose

To provide leadership and direction to the branch location, ensuring company policies and procedures are followed and the direction of the branch is toward the achievement of the goals set forth by management.

Primary Functions
  • 紐esponsibility for profitability of branch.
  • 桧versee all branch sales, warehousing, pricing and customer relations.
  • 標ith approval from corporate, initiate the hiring, releasing and disciplinary action of all the employees under direct supervision.
  • 柍prove, within budgetary limits, all branch office expenditures for purchase of supplies and equipment.
  • 筆ake certain that customer complaints and claims are properly handled.
  • 紐esponsibility for the physical plant and maintenance.
  • 桧versee all sales activities to ensure that orders are entered, filed and priced properly.
  • 姫rovide technical product information to staff and customers.
  • 紐esponsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels that ensures acceptable serviceability and turn rate.
  • 紐esponsible for the safeguard of all company assets at the branch location.
  • 必eep management abreast of all matters pertaining to the effective operations of the branch.
  • 姫erform duties inherent in all supervisory positions.
Additional Functions
  • 筆ay perform duties of an Outside or Inside Salesperson as outlined in the job description for that position.
  • 柊ttend and participate in company meetings, industry conferences and conventions as requested by management.
  • 筆aintain current product information and coordinate its distribution and availability to the appropriate personnel.
  • 疋evelop and conduct sales training.
  • 謬his position may require doing aspects of every job which is associated with the branch operation.
  • 肘mplement company and OSHA safety policies that apply.
  • 柊ny other duties that management feels necessary to fulfill the objectives of the company.
Required Equipment
  • 彦orklift and Other Loading Equipment
Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • 匹ollege degree, business related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 膝eneral understanding of the mine supply business.
  • 稗e able to complete company training program.
  • 姫ossess effective written and verbal communication skills.
Required Communication
  • 匹ommunicate verbally to management, customers and employees through presentations and reports.
  • 匹ommunicate directives of management to subordinates verbally and in writing.
II. WORK ENVIRONMENT Physical Demands

髭xtended periods of standing and sitting.

柊bility to lift varying weights up to fifty pounds and carry twenty yards.

柊bility to climb up and down trucks, ladders, shelving, etc.

標ork in store/warehouse environment with merchandise in various stages of resale.

標ork in varying temperatures according to seasonal changes.

Safety Requirements

紐esponsible to follow and ensure employees follow company safety policies designed to prevent accidents and promote employee health.

紐eporting of all accidents according to company policy.

標ork around fast pace store/warehouse while heavy and large merchandise is being moved.

彦requently work around heavy equipment.

肘n any industrial setting there is a constant need for alertness to changes in the surrounding environment.

III. PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS Work Location

謬he primary work location is the physical location to which the manager is assigned

桧ther locations as company needs dictate and/or supervisors request.

Work Schedules

百cheduling will be determined by management based on company needs.

逼ormal work hours are 7 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday, weekends as required.

柊ll employees are expected to work the necessary hours required to meet or exceed company goals.

Accountabilities
  • 柊ccountable for all company assets of the branch location.
  • 筆aintain confidentiality concerning sales, pricing policies and procedures, customer lists, credit information, correspondence and any other information which might be harmful to the company, customers or other employees if revealed.
