Operations Manager
An established electrical contractor in the Phoenix area is looking to add an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead major construction projects across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure settings.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of complex electrical builds, managing people and resources, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. Responsibilities- Lead electrical construction projects from kickoff through final closeout
- Oversee schedules, budgets, labor, materials, subcontractors, and project documentation
- Manage cost tracking, forecasting, earned value, change orders, billings, and progress reporting
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and applicable codes (NEC/NFPA)
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, field teams, and vendors
- Provide leadership and direction for electricians and support staff
- Maintain jobsite organization, procurement strategies, and project logs
- 6+ years managing electrical construction projects
- Experience handling projects in the $10M–$20M range
- Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, and industrial electrical systems
- Hands‑on experience with scheduling, cost control, and financial project management
- Ability to supervise electricians and coordinate subcontractor work
- Industrial, utility, plant, or water/wastewater experience is highly preferred
- Strong communication and client‑facing skills
- Ability to work on‑site daily in the Phoenix area
