Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages the Warehouse Department. Carries out Management/Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Warehouse support of manufacturing, printing, quality control and maintenance.
  • Scheduling of loading and unloading of inbound and outbound truckloads shipments.
  • Maintain and reconcile printed and unprinted finished goods inventory.
  • Fed Ex/UPS/DHL and other small parcel expedited services.
  • Research and negotiation for inbound and outbound pricing of all truckload shipments.
  • Auditing of freight charges incurred by this plant.
  • Maintenance of forklifts, forklift batteries and dock plates.
  • Coordinate training and certification of forklift drivers.
  • Implement company rules including Good Manufacturing Practices, (HACCP) and safety.
  • Responsible for the direction and training of all warehouse and inventory team members.
  • Responsible for the ongoing development of a team environment.
  • Must know the Quality Policy and apply it to working practices.
  • Implement required disciplinary action and all related documentation.
  • Maintain and reconcile regrind, purge, and inventory.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.

  • Problem Solving/Conflict Resolution - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner;
    Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; mitigates relationship conflicts and encourages constructive (problem‑solving) conflict.

Full‑time, 24/7 operating manufacturing plant availability as needed.
