Job Summary

The position involves planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling contract functions for mechanical and automation projects.

Responsibilities
  • Fully responsible for the successful completion Remark: all aspects of the project.
  • Prepares monthly financial forecasts and updates, ensuring that the contract is managed to meet all contractual requirements and financial realizando goals.
  • Manages overall contract

    Cann operations, including turnover meetings, scope of work, construction schedule GR, customer relations, job cost management, cost control of project, purchasing guidelines, project staffing, schedule of values, change order management muffin = ns, value decisions, scope management, attendance at project meetings, compliance of project specifications, foreman coordination of project and daily operations.
  • Evaluates and ensures the efficient operation of the project, controlling operational expenses to meet sound industry practices and contractual requirements.
  • Provides administrative and technical direction and supervision to staff in completing work assignments.
  • Discusses, plans, and delegates major project assignments to supervisory staff; establishes building and maintenance priorities of significant scope.
  • In consultation with the branch manager, recommends hiring, promotion, and termination of field staff.
  • Advices, discusses, and informs client staff on construction matters and problem areas.
  • Advise project coordinator to purchase materials, consumables, rentals, and services.
  • Maintains liaison with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors/subcontractors on new and renovation projects.
  • Maintains sufficient records, files, and procedures to ensure management and work production.
  • Enforces safety programs and coordinates with the Safety Director to train field forces and enforce site safety practices.
  • Provides adequate and complete information to administration staff for timely and proper processing of all project correspondence and records.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a background in construction.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in HVAC, Controls, and Plumbing Project Management.
  • 5+ years of mechanical/controls experience managing large retrofit projects (preferred).
  • Knowledge of submitting written proposals, scopes of work, scheduling, and coordinating site contractors; thorough understanding of construction schedules, operations, and meeting demanding customer requirements.
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and control all aspects of new or renovation projects.
  • Ability to work with customers to find mutually satisfactory solutions to difficult issues.
  • Skilled at collaborating with management systems and diverse professional groups, administrators, and industry personnel.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and capable of learning internal proprietary systems, LMS, and other multimedia programs.
  • Demonstrated skill at developing and nurturing client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in organizing and leading groups of people.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team and adapting to changing priorities.
