About the RoleProject Manager, based in Denver, CO or Chandler/Phoenix offices, reporting to the Regional Construction Manager. Responsible for managing multiple projects and working directly with customers and internal teams to bring projects safely, on time and under budget.
Responsibilities- Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope and meet or exceed initial contract estimates and company expectations for margins and EBIT.
- Accountable for effective vendor relationships and ordering project materials at or under budget, ensuring quality and reliability while meeting onsite schedules.
- Align team priorities with broader organizational initiatives and objectives.
- Oversee and monitor internal project costs weekly/monthly; forecast and report accurately.
- Create and monitor Schedule of Values and ensure timely and accurate final invoicing and project closure.
- Partner closely with all team members to secure positive and profitable results through project close.
- Deliver presentations on project updates, project cycle, and expected results when necessary.
- Adhere to Atkore Safety policies by all relevant project team members.
- Associate or Technical Degree/Certificate in Construction-related field preferred, or equivalent years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in construction/project management.
- Ability to accurately read and understand blueprints and construction documents.
- Ability to manage multiple crews and projects.
- High-level organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Procore.

- Travel Requirements: 25% as project schedules require.
- Within 3 months:
Complete Atkore immersion program, develop relationships with stakeholders and team. - Within 6 months:
Build strong relationships with customers, superintendents, sales, estimating and drafting; become proficient with tools and processes; articulate Atkore value proposition. - Within 12 months:
Holistically manage multiple large-scale projects, manage an efficient team, conduct performance conversations, resolve work issues quickly and safely.
Good faith estimate: $86,800 – $119,350. Placement in the range depends on several factors including specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
