Are you a hospitality-driven leader with a passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences in some of the most breathtaking locations in the U.S.? We are seeking an experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee operational management while leading and inspiring teams across our Western U.S. sites, delivering exceptional service in partnership with our clients. As a concessionaire working in partnership with the client, you will lead a team of site leaders to deliver outstanding guest experiences while supporting the highest standards of environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance.

In this pivotal role, you will handle the day-to-day operations across multiple sites, driving business performance, ensuring service delivery, high guest service standards, and leading your team in creating unforgettable experiences for visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Multi-Site Operations: Supervise and support managers at each site, ensuring seamless delivery of all business services.
  • Contract Compliance
    :
    Work closely with our client to ensure that all services meet contractual obligations, regulations, and standards.
  • Financial Performance: Oversee the financial performance of all assigned sites, including revenue performance and development, expense management, P & L reviews, and maximize profitability.
  • Elevate the Guest Experience
    :
    Focus on delivering top-tier guest satisfaction through exceptional service, quality, and hospitality that aligns with our mission and values.
  • Manage Staffing: Ensure timely recruitment and retention of seasonal and full-time staff, maintaining optimal staffing levels, specifically during peak business seasons.
  • Cultivate Strong Client Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our client, acting as the key liaison between site management and the company.
  • Sustainability Leadership: Champion sustainability and eco-friendly practices across all operations, ensuring compliance with environmental policies and guidelines set by both the company and the client.
  • Special Projects: Take the lead on special initiatives, including seasonal openings, capital improvements, and other location-specific projects as directed by senior leadership.
Who You Are
  • A proven operations leader with experience in hospitality management, preferably within a concessionaire environment.
  • Adept at managing remote, seasonal locations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction.
  • An effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with government agencies, staff, and contractors.
  • Knowledgeable in working within compliance-driven environments, including managing government contracts and regulatory standards.
  • Passionate about sustainability and preserving the natural beauty of our locations while delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
Required Skill & Experience
  • At least 5 years in a senior operations leadership role, preferably with a concessionaire or in the hospitality industry serving national or state parks.
  • Strong knowledge of government contracting, and operational compliance.
  • Experience managing multi-site or remote operations, with a proven ability to oversee large, seasonal teams.
  • Excellent fiscal management skills, with the ability to analyze profit-and-loss statements and drive revenue performance in diverse business environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the focus on building relationships with external stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to remote locations across the U.S.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
