Job Summary

The Operations Lead (OL) oversees store processes and supports an active selling culture by ensuring that all aspects are maintained to documented company standards designed to drive sales. The OL provides expertise in all operation processes including opening, closing, training, and delegation of tasks while demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• The Operations Lead performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution, operational readiness, troubleshooting, team management, conditioning, and housekeeping, while ensuring building, assets, and team member security.
• The OL coordinates directly with the Operations Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness supporting traffic, sales, and the customer experience, including compliance with company policies, labor standards, customer interaction standards, and business metrics.
• The OL participates in task management by planning/executing daily/weekly zone workload and assigning tasks to meet store, department, sales goals, and guest engagement, ensuring timely completion.
• The Operations Lead supports the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention, expense control, and customer experience for effective and profitable store operations.
• The OL drives productivity through training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and performance appraisal.
• The Operations Lead uses daily interactions and team huddles to communicate and teach/train topics supporting the customer experience.
• The OL participates in freight processes for incoming freight and transitions, processes freight, stocks, and maintains a neat, organized store.
• All other duties are based on business needs.
• Open availability required (nights and weekends).

Qualifications & Competencies

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs or team lift 100 lbs.
• Effective working independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, trustworthy, ethical, and honest.
• Creates urgency, promotes teamwork, delegates, and motivates.
• Ability to train, develop, motivate, and lead in a positive environment.
• Flexible and creative in handling multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
