About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager to support and lead company‑wide waste management compliance, TSCA and EPCRA regulatory activities, and environmental metrics reporting. In this role, you will ensure operational compliance, strengthen regulatory relationships, guide environmental teams, and support key sustainability initiatives across global sites.
What You Will Do- Support compliance with waste‑related laws and company policies across operating facilities and historic properties.
- Manage and coordinate TSCA and EPCRA compliance and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Oversee global environmental data collection through Metrics Tracking Software and provide validated metrics for reporting.
- Train, coach, and mentor environmental metrics teams and waste coordinators.
- Coordinate hazardous, universal, and solid waste compliance efforts and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Participate in internal environmental audits and review/approve treatment and disposal facilities.
- Manage select compliance activities at non‑operating sites.
- Support corporate sustainability initiatives and legislative engagement related to waste management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Mathematics with 10+ years of environmental management experience OR
- Master’s degree in related fields with 8+ years of experience.
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and apply them effectively.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective leadership and collaboration in team environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Master’s degree in Environmental or related discipline.
- Experience in the mining or metals industry.
- Familiarity with state and federal legislative development processes.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 standards and auditing procedures.
