Preconstruction Manager

Ensure that all K2 existing clients are getting the right amount of touch points and new clients are being pursued to develop into new existing clients. Ensure that large clients convert into Facility Services existing clients and Facility Services existing clients promote K2 large construction projects. Maintain data to ensure that K2 existing clients are being reviewed on a regular basis.

Develop project strategy at the start of the pursuit, delivery of the proposal, and the handoff to operations.

High Payoff Activities

1. Business Development

• Analyze metrics to deploy all at K2 to be effective in driving K2 new business.
• Monitor AZBEX and coordinate proposal execution for Facility Services division
• Maintain the planned and future sections in the forecast document
• Create and maintain data system for client scorecard
• Create and maintain data system for cost center metrics
• Build out and maintain business development touch point log
• Coordinate with marketing to ensure that client pursuits and client communication strategy match
• Ensure that prequalifications are current with K2 existing clients
• Develop and maintain a net promoter score for all areas of the business (Preconstruction, Facility Services, Design, Large Construction, Manufacturing)
• Attend events and perform client touch points

2. Performing Preconstruction

• Building VE logs by project
• Communicating with the client throughout the preconstruction process
• Leading any BIM/Clash coordination efforts (3rd party or internal)
• Review and submit pricing during preconstruction
• Ensure a consistent, quality delivery from preconstruction to operations

3. Project Pursuit Strategy

• Develop a strategy for each project that K2 pursues
• Ensure the execution of this strategy is employed to all involved
