Shifts are 6 am - 2:30 pm. Must have Saturday availablity as well.
The Pool Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, clean, and efficient operation of all resort pools, spas, and related water features. This role supports the guest experience by maintaining pristine water quality, properly functioning equipment, and a well‑kept pool environment. The technician performs routine inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and documentation in accordance with local health codes and resort standards.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Perform daily testing and balancing of pool and spa water chemistry.
- Clean pools, spas, and surrounding deck areas, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and tile cleaning.
- Inspect and maintain pumps, filters, heaters, chemical feeders, and other mechanical systems.
- Monitor and adjust chemical levels to meet health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of water chemistry, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment to identify issues or potential failures.
- Perform minor repairs or coordinate with engineering for larger repairs.
- Ensure proper operation of safety equipment and signage.
1–2 years of experience in pool maintenance, hotel engineering, or related field.
Knowledge of pool chemistry, filtration systems, and mechanical equipment.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
