Critical Facilities Technician - North Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non‑critical equipment.
  • Operate and maintain HVAC systems, plumbing, generators, fire detection and suppression, life safety, temperature control, building management, and digital systems (fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV).
  • Plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise all electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment. Ensure conformance with change control procedures.
  • Schedule, develop, and quality‑assure preventive, contracted, and general maintenance.
  • Follow MOP/SOP/ERP procedures and maintenance work instructions for all work.
  • Operate and monitor critical and non‑critical system equipment and oversee safe and compliant operation, maintenance, and modification of critical equipment.
  • Receive and execute work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance, consult with Facility Manager or Lead CFT to order necessary materials, and finalize documentation in the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns.
  • Monitor building operations and conduct periodic property tours during shifts.
  • Understand the engineering design and operational aspects of all electrical systems.
  • Evaluate, assign, and monitor safe work responsibilities and safety procedures for employees and contractors.
  • Develop and communicate improvements to ADC’s processes to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma and minimum 3‑5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support; or 7+ years of experience as HVAC or mechanical/electrical technician.
  • Electrical/Mechanical certifications preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime and longer shifts (12 hour).
  • Shifts may require day/night/weekend/holiday work.
  • Computer skills required:
    Microsoft Office.

Hourly Pay Range: $35.00 – $47.00
