$15.50 - 16.00 per hour (depending on experience). This is a full-time position with benefits (medical, dental, life insurance). This position is a traditional school year position (10.5 month). Custodial/cleaning experience is required; qualified candidate will also be required to operate heavy machinery.
JOB SUMMARYUnder the supervision of the Buildings and Grounds Supervisor, and the Night Lead Custodian, is responsible in cleaning the physical plant, classrooms and other areas. Responsible for minor maintenance to the building as related to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting and equipment maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform scheduled housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and neat appearance at all District locations.
- Assume specific housekeeping duties such as:
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with associates.
- Working knowledge about industrial equipment.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping care.
- Good physical health.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Prior experience as a custodian
- Maintenance experience in electrical, mechanical equipment
