Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance - Food Equipment

Position Summary

General Maintenance Technician at Walmart Draft. As a maintenance technician you will diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on all commercial equipment to support Walmart stores, develop preventive maintenance schedules and train Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning.

Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment and fixtures (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment). Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules, deliver required written and electronic information, and conduct training for associates.

• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules by providing accurate documentation such as expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs, etc.

• 5 years’ experience in maintenance.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• At least 1 year’s experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Experience in tasks such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear, respectful communication.
• Personal accountability, effective time‑management, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Alignment with Servant Leadership and team‑oriented mindset.
