Our practice covers a wide range of litigation areas, including civil, commercial, and complex litigation. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our team.
Position OverviewAs a senior paralegal, you will be responsible for a variety of assignments, such as state and federal court filings, docketing, drafting pleadings and discovery, reviewing productions, preparing correspondence to clients and third-parties, word processing, and other paralegal support tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a high-volume caseload while supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation.
Annual Salary: $75,000+ depending on experience
Qualifications- 5+ year of experience;
- Familiar with project management strategies;
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
- High level of discretion and confidentiality;
- Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels;
- Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus;
- Thorough knowledge of PC applications, including MS Office.
- Advanced knowledge of legal software programs such as CLIO, Open Discovery, and Trial Director.
- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including case intake, discovery, trial preparation, and appeals
- Draft legal documents such as complaints, subpoenas, motions, and discovery requests/responses
- Manage document production, including organizing and analyzing large volumes of documents
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Maintain litigation calendars and track important deadlines
- Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case materials
- File documents electronically with state and federal courts
- Civil Litigation: 5 years (Required)
- Appellate: 2 years (Preferred)
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- In person or hybrid
