About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Criminal Defense Paralegal to join a structured, office-based criminal law practice in Phoenix. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional office environment, values organization and process, and has direct experience supporting attorneys in Arizona misdemeanor and felony courts
.

This is not a remote or hybrid role. Daily, in-office presence is required.

• Draft and review routine legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
• Create, organize, and maintain criminal case files
• Track court dates and internal deadlines to keep attorneys on schedule
• Assist with filings and procedural requirements in misdemeanor and felony matters
• Conduct legal research as needed
• Communicate with courts, prosecutors’ offices, and clients when appropriate
• Provide consistent administrative and litigation support within an office setting

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in Arizona misdemeanor and felony criminal courts
• Prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal secretary
• Strong working knowledge of Arizona criminal procedure
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline driven
• Comfortable working full-time in an office environment
• Professional communication skills and reliability are essential
