If you’re the paralegal people trust when the timeline is tight and the stakes are high, you’ll thrive here.

This startup provides a ground‑floor opportunity to shape systems, elevate client experiences, and grow with a firm that believes great process is an act of care.

Why You’ll Love this Role

  • Build something: Help design workflows, templates, and playbooks that make matters move.
  • Work with purpose: We keep clients informed, calm, and confident at every step.
  • Learn fast: Collaborate daily with two attorneys and see the full arc of family law matters—from intake to final orders.
What You Will Do Client Care & Case Momentum

  • Build and maintain clean templates and checklists for repeatable quality.
Courts, Rules, and Filings
  • E‑file and file in person as needed; ensure compliance with Arizona Law and Superior Court requirements.
  • Track service, docket activity, and procedural deadlines with disciplined follow‑through.
Discovery & Evidence
  • Prepare Disclosures and discovery responses/supplements for attorney review.
  • Organize document productions; index exhibits and maintain witness and exhibit lists for hearings, mediation, and trial.
  • Review, summarize, and flag key issues from opposing party’s disclosures and discovery.
Hearing & Trial Support
  • Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and client meetings.
  • Assemble hearing binders and trial notebooks; support attorneys in court as needed.
Operations & Billing
  • Record billable time accurately; support monthly billing and matter budgeting.
  • Contribute to building office systems and SOPs as the firm scales.
What You Bring
  • Experience: 5+ years as a family law paralegal in Arizona.
  • Know‑how: Working knowledge of Arizona family law procedures, civil litigation, and local court rules.
  • Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and a case management system (Clio).
  • Communication: Clear, professional writing; steady, respectful client communication—especially under pressure.
  • Organization: Meticulous attention to detail; ability to prioritize and juggle multiple matters without dropping the ball.
  • Judgment: You ask smart questions early, own your work, and deliver reliable results.
