Overview
The UX/UI Manager partners with Product, Developers, Marketing, Ecomm, Creative Pods, and external agency partners to lead customer‑first digital experiences across Sprouts touchpoints. This role guides UX/UI projects from concept through delivery while ensuring alignment with brand strategy, business goals, and retail realities. The UX/UI Manager supports the Sr. Creative Director in evolving Sprouts’ digital experience with work that delivers on performance metrics, customer insights, and brand standards.
Responsibilities- Owns and evolves Sprouts’ digital experience strategy, ensuring alignment with brand vision, customer expectations, and enterprise business priorities.
- Translates business priorities into clear journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and UX/UI recommendations.
- Leads UX/UI initiatives from concept through launch across cross‑functional teams and agency partners.
- Aligns stakeholders and agency partners around UX priorities, ensuring consistent experience decisions across projects.
- Shapes early‑stage business and product concepts by embedding customer experience strategy into initiative planning and investment decisions.
- Ensures consistency of look, tone, voice, accessibility, and usability across digital marketing and customer experience assets.
- Manages shifting priorities across complex projects while maintaining timelines and stakeholder alignment.
- Presents work in Creative Review, Creative Strategy, and Executive Leadership forums to move projects forward.
- Establishes and governs enterprise UX frameworks, design systems, accessibility standards, and scalable processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across all digital touchpoints.
- Monitors retail trends, emerging technologies, and customer expectations to inform Sprouts experiences.
- Owns UX performance strategy, defining success metrics tied to conversion retention, engagement, and revenue; translates insights into prioritized experience improvements.
- Champions experimentation, continuous improvement, and collaborative problem solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field preferred.
- 8‑10+ years UX/UI experience, preferably in retail, grocery, e‑commerce, marketplace, or consumer apps.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and shipped customer experiences.
- Experience collaborating across Product, Development, Marketing, Ecomm, and agency teams.
- Knowledge of UX research methods, usability testing, accessibility standards, and design systems.
- Proficiency with industry tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools, and collaboration platforms.
- Understanding of e‑commerce, loyalty programs, pickup & delivery, or omnichannel retail a plus.
- Strong conceptual thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and guide projects without direct authority.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced environment where priorities shift frequently.
- Demonstrates accountability, curiosity, collaboration, and a solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Retail or agency experience preferred.
- Operate standard office equipment including computer, telephone, and other devices requiring repetitive hand and eye movement.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Occasional travel to meetings, store locations, or project reviews as needed.
