Scrum Master, IT Project Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: Ongoing Contract
CTG is seeking a Project Manager II – Agile Champion to support our client’s Engineering teams by driving Agile best practices and enabling high-performing delivery within a scaled Agile environment. This role focuses on coaching teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery across Program Increments (PI).
Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate Agile ceremonies and team events to support incremental and iterative delivery.
Drive the Engineering team’s contribution during Program Increments (PI) through coaching and facilitation.
Partner with Product Owners on backlog refinement, backlog readiness, and writing effective user stories.
Support Agile Release Train (ART) coordination and collaboration with Release Train Engineers (RTE).
Identify, track, and resolve impediments, risks, and cross-team dependencies.
Monitor delivery metrics and continuously improve team performance and maturity.
Promote Agile mindset, Lean-Agile principles, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with SDLC standards and maintain accurate data within Agile management tools.
Influence teams and stakeholders without direct authority to drive Agile adoption and delivery success.

Experience facilitating Agile teams within complex product development environments.
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Agile at Scale frameworks.
Proven ability to coach teams and Product Owners on Agile practices.
Experience working with Agile project management tools such as JIRA or Rally .
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational change management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
