Job Overview
Experience in Desktop support / End user support engineering. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, One Note, Excel, and Visio. Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Experienced documenting, tracking, and monitoring problems using applicable systems and tools.
Experienced in researching and resolving technical problems of moderate complexity, typically escalated from first line support teams.
Responsibilities- The Desktop Support Technician maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots desktop hardware and software packages, providing customer service and end‑user training.
- Performs advanced administrative, operational and customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment.
- Researches and resolves technical problems of moderate complexity, typically escalated from first line support teams.
- Responds to escalated telephone, email and online requests for technical support; documents, tracks and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools.
- Prioritizes requests and adapts procedures, processes, and techniques with limited guidance.
- Works with end‑user devices such as desktops, laptops, notebooks and tablets, and with system software associated with end‑user and distributed computing services.
- Provides deskside support to end‑users for incidents, service requests, and information requests, meeting service levels.
- Dispatches and monitors break/fix repairs, including services performed by third‑party vendors.
- Manages work guided by documented procedures and professional IMAC services for hardware and software.
- Tracks inventory of in‑scope software and hardware per asset management process.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
