Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

📍 Arizona-Based | Hybrid (In-Person Collaboration Expected)

We are looking for a hands-on Senior QA Automation Engineer to help modernize and scale a next-generation automation and AI-driven testing environment for web and mobile applications.

This is an automation-first role focused on building scalable frameworks, improving QA efficiency, and helping transition manual testing into modern automation using AI tools.

We're looking for someone who is obsessed with quality improvement
, enjoys mentoring other testers, and can help guide the evolution from Selenium-based automation toward Playwright.

This role works closely with Engineering and Product teams to ensure strong automated test coverage and high‑quality releases.

• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and Playwright
• Help lead the transition from Selenium to Playwright
• Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing
• Mentor testers and help grow automation capabilities
• Help incorporate AI tools into QA workflows
• Work closely with Engineering and Product teams
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines

• 5+ years QA Automation experience
• Selenium
• Java
• Cucumber / BDD
• Playwright
• Experience with API and backend testing
• Experience mentoring testers
• Experience working with manual QA teams
• Experience with Jira and CI/CD tools (Jenkins or Circle
  
  CI)
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude or Cursor
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar required

• Mobile testing experience (React Native a plus)
• IoT or connected-device QA experience
• Experience using AI to improve QA processes
