No matter the role, every TGen employee contributes to success. Together, we work toward a common goal: improving medicine to enhance a patient’s quality of life. Find your role at TGen, in an environment ignited by a profound purpose.
- Design, administer, and monitor network and security hardware, software, and operating systems. Manage core network services and protocols such as DNS, DHCP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, AAA, VPN, ACLs, and network monitoring tools.
- Independently monitor chat and email channels: take ownership, respond to, and resolve alert notifications, help desk tickets, and technical issues involving network infrastructure and services (including outside of standard business hours as needed).
- Design, configuration, testing, and optimization of network hardware, operating systems, and application environments. Support of open-source, commercial, and internally developed applications to ensure seamless integration.
- Monitor and maintain critical data-center facilities, including power distribution (UPS/PDU) and fire suppression systems. Coordinate with vendors for routine testing, emergency repairs, and the ongoing maintenance of the physical data center environment.
- Design and maintain TGen's enterprise wireless networking platforms. Manage wireless security and authentication protocols, including RADIUS, MSCHAPv2, and EAP-TLS.
- Maintain TGen’s phone system by managing SIP circuits, voice‑enabled routers, and hardware endpoints within a Cisco CUCM environment. Work closely with technology partners to ensure service reliability and act as the technical escalation point.
- Utilize automation and containerized platforms to enhance the reliability, scalability, and overall manageability of the network infrastructure and internal support applications.
- Consult with internal stakeholders to assess technological needs and evaluate vendor solutions. Identify and leverage new or existing technologies to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Research current and emerging technologies, vulnerabilities, and software updates to ensure the integrity of TGen's network. Maintain a deep understanding of network device configurations and industry best practices.
- Provide secondary support for information security alerts, help desk tickets, and incident resolution. This includes responding to critical issues outside of standard business hours as needed.
- BC/BS of Arizona health coverage.
- Dental, Vision, Life, Short and Long Term Disability.
- Top‑notch EAP with a full scope of concierge type services.
- 401(k) with 6% match.
- Generous time off.
- Commuter benefits.
- Much, much more!
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, deploying, and optimizing Cisco enterprise ecosystems, including advanced routing/switching, wireless, and unified IP Telephony solutions.
- Hands‑on expertise managing Dell enterprise networking hardware, with a focus on scalable data center architecture and proactive system maintenance.
- Expertise in managing and troubleshooting fundamental network protocols within a diverse, multi‑platform ecosystem; must demonstrate technical fluency across Windows, macOS, and Linux/UNIX distributions.
- Exposure to network automation (e.g., Python, Ansible) and familiarity with virtualized environments (e.g., VMware vSwitch, Docker, or Kubernetes) to support a modern, software‑defined infrastructure.
- A self‑directed professional who maintains composure and delivers high‑quality results in high‑pressure environments, while actively contributing to a collaborative culture through proactive learning and a commitment to mutual mentorship.
- Must be able to reframe complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a service‑oriented approach are essential.
- Responsiveness to mission‑critical issues and a commitment to resolving high‑priority incidents outside of standard business hours when necessary.
- Delivers high‑touch, white‑glove technical support to a diverse community of research and administrative partners, fostering seamless collaboration across both IT and non‑technical departments.
