Customer Analytics Analyst II

Job Summary
:
Sprouts Farmers Market is a rapidly growing company focused on customer service and healthy living. The Customer Analytics Analyst II will support internal business partners through data-driven analytics, driving improvements and providing actionable insights based on data analysis.

Responsibilities
:

• At regular business intervals, update and distribute reports, dashboards, presentations to executive leadership

• Participate in meetings with key stakeholders to determine needs, requirements, and objectives for new standardized reports or enhancements to existing reports

• Analyze data, identify anomalies and provide useable insights necessary to transform information into actionable results

• Predict, test and measure organization initiatives to identify impacts to KPIs

• Respond to ad hoc data and analysis requests to support business partners

• Conduct analyses with high degree of precision and accuracy with readily available tools

• Train business users how to create basic reports/dashboards to address any self-service requirements

• Continually improve the efficiency/usability of BI capabilities for business users

• Communicate planned and unplanned service outages to users

• Support the migration of existing analytical capabilities into future enterprise solutions

• Participate in projects to improve business intelligence capabilities, master data management, data governance, etc.

• Continually validate the integrity of data sources and partner with internal and external teams to remedy issues as necessary

• Develop processes and algorithms to cleanse/standardize/join disparate data sources

• Partner with internal and external teams to integrate new sources of data into existing datasets and/or improve the reliability and availability of existing datasets

Qualifications
:
Required
:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or related field required

• Ideal candidate would have 2-5 years of prior experience in a joint business/technical role responsible for both development and delivering business results

• Prior role and/or project experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Intermediate level of experience with databases, ETL, and Business Intelligence tools, such as, Microsoft Azure, Power

BI, Databricks, Python, etc

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Vizio, etc.

• Familiarity with standard data formats including CSV, JSON, XML, etc

• Ability to excel in an environment of change, ambiguity, and incomplete information

• Ability to work with very large, complex and disparate data sources (accessing, connecting, and analyzing)

• Ability to handle multiple priorities against multiple deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to take and give direction while participating in a team environment

• Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from groups of peers, managers, and business partners

Preferred
:

• Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus

• High level of business/retail knowledge and intuition to guide analysis and insights preferred
