Release Train Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead a large-scale Agile Release Train (ART) within a complex digital product ecosystem. The RTE will drive planning, execution, and continuous improvement across multiple cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment, flow, and predictable delivery.

• Lead and facilitate PI Planning, ART ceremonies, and cross‑team coordination.
• Remove impediments, manage risks, and maintain delivery flow across teams.
• Partner with Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering to ensure alignment.
• Track and report metrics such as velocity, predictability, dependencies, and quality.
• Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams in SAFe and Lean‑Agile practices.
• Promote governance, transparency, and consistent operating rhythms across the ART.

• 5+ years of Agile delivery experience, including RTE, Agile Coach, or Senior Scrum Master roles.
• Strong command of SAFe, Lean‑Agile principles, and multi‑team delivery.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and servant‑leadership skills.
• Experience working with Azure Dev Ops or Jira in scaled agile environments.
• Ability to manage dependencies and collaborate across multiple teams and vendors.
• SAFe RTE, SPC, or SAFe Agilist certification preferred.

• Experience in large, distributed, multi‑vendor environments.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops, CI/CD, and digital product development.
• Ability to establish new ARTs and implement delivery governance models.
