Bilingual Desktop Support Technician; Spanish - WWF

Pay:

$23.00 - $24.00 per hour.

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth operations.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, Linux) and software applications.
• Set up and maintain user accounts in Active Directory.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of IT infrastructure components such as servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or in-person to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
• Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system (Service Now).
• Assist with software deployment using SCCM or similar tools.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and policies.
• Perform regular system maintenance tasks such as backups and updates.

• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server).
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking protocols and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Service Now or similar ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with Active Directory administration.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with firewall configuration and administration.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Power Shell, Bash).
