Our financial services client is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst / Incident Response Engineer to join their dedicated team. As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst / Incident Response Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Security team supporting incident detection, response, and prevention efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst / Incident Response Engineer

Phoenix, Arizona (Hybrid 3 days in office)

45-50/hr W2

Term: 6-12+ contract role

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools and endpoint protection solutions
• Conduct static and dynamic malware analysis to identify malicious activities
• Investigate network data flows and security breaches to determine root causes
• Coordinate incident response efforts to contain and remediate security threats
• Maintain and improve security protocols based on evolving threats and industry best practices

• 5-6+ years working as a SOC Analyst with involvement with incident response
• Experience with AWS, GCP, and cloud security principles
• Proficiency in troubleshooting network and endpoint security issues
• Knowledge of information security principles and incident response procedures
• Familiarity with security certifications such as Security Certifications, Incident Response Certifications, AWS Certification, GCP Certifications
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and continuous learning
