Product Manager - Locals

Overview

The candidate should have experience working as a Product Analyst and/or Program Manager, acting as a liaison between business and technology teams. Operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, demonstrating strong organization and planning skills. Support the delivery, governance, and adoption of a data-driven platform.

• Define, track, and report platform health metrics, including KPIs, SLIs, and SLAs.
• Author high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria and supporting documentation.
• Participate across the entire development lifecycle:
  • Feature delivery tracking
  • Impediment mitigation
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Sprint and increment completion tracking
• Review and oversee data flows in and out of the platform to ensure standardization and governance.
• Support data standardization and platform oversight.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify capability dependencies, gaps, and future enhancements.
• Work closely with Platform, Engineering, Technology, and Business stakeholders.
• Communicate with platform users regarding:
  • Platform announcements
  • Compliance requirements
  • User access and maintenance
  • Usage updates
• Measure and report on platform usage metrics, including:
  • Data ingestion volumes
  • Efficiency and performance indicators
• Implement and manage data and platform controls to ensure compliance.
• Manage platform-related projects and programs, resolving data-related issues to ensure timely delivery.

• 2+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Development.
• Proven experience managing projects and programs involving both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong data foundation, including:
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Hive
  • UNIX/Linux
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and processes, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience in:
  • System Analysis / Technology roles
  • Big Data environments
  • Data Warehousing
  • Business Intelligence platforms
• Hands-on knowledge of Big Data platforms, including Hadoop ecosystems.
• Experience working in SAFe Agile environments.
• Familiarity with Agile collaboration tools:
  • Rally Software
  • Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)
  • Slack

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to take independent ownership of projects and deliverables.
